DESCRIPTIVE
Communicative purpose:

- to describe a particular person, place or thing.
(menjelaskan orang, tempat, atau benda tertentu)
Generic Structure:
(struktur umum)
a. Identification: identify the phenomenon to be described
(identifikasi : mengidentifikasi penomena untuk diceritakan)
b. Description: describe the parts, qualities and the characteristics.
(menjelaskan: menjelaskan bagian-bagian, kualitas, dan karakter sesuatu)
Linguistic Features:
(ciri-ciri bahasa/ gaya bahasa)
- focus on specific, participants
(fokus pada spesifik sesuatu)
- use of attributive and identifying process(mengidentifikasi proses)
- frequent use of ephitets and classifier in nominal groups.
(menggunakan 'ephitets dan classifier' di dalam kelompok nominal)
